Revival

I think it is time to revive my blog. Have been too busy with work and stuff, so blogging was pushed down my priority list. I miss writing. I don't like facebook posts. can't write much. can't write sensitive stuff. SO! this is still the BEST PLACE to write about anything I think, feel, wants blah blah blah.

Sorry blog, I neglected you for more than 1 yr.. I still love ya. :)

Coffee in the cup

A professor asked his students to take a coffee break at the pantry. On the pantry table, there were cups of different shapes, sizes, some old and plain but some were really exquisite. The students one by one, picked up those nice looking ones, leaving those plain ones on the tray.

Upon seeing this, the professor picked up a plain cup and poured some coffee into it. Sipping his coffee, he commented:

I see that many of you chose those nice cups, but the coffee that you and I are drinking is the same quality aromatic coffee. Our lives are just like coffee, while those cups are represents our type of jobs, the cars we drive, the houses we live in. Even if we do not drive flashy cars, glamorous jobs, lavish housing, the quality of our life can still be good like this coffee. The coffee's quality is not dependant on the cup!

i miss grand canyon. miss the grandeur of nature. there is not much of nature left here. even if there is, nothing spectacular. conserve!!! otherwise we will not have many beautiful places left on this planet for future generations to appreciate the beauty of nature!!

i am looking at the photos of this guy called paul mines. he hiked the inca trail in peru. it is a 45km trail with peak at 4200m. amazing pictures. i missed hiking. omg... the mountains! i wanna be with the mountains. can i be a mountain goat? or maybe go back in time to be some 'flying snow fox' pulgistic era n train with some master in the mountains in tian shan or something.

actually i think the real tian shan is in kazakhstan. anyone interested?? lol.

coming monday will be my last day in my present company. wish them success. :)

next wed i'll be starting on a new job in NHGP as Ops Exec, a position where there will be plenty to learn about corporate management. work place is not too far away from my home too. package is good too. everything is good except the 5.5 days week? haha.

In essence, flirting can be verbal and non-verbal. Usually the verbal aspect is what we can control, but non-verbal flirting is part of our biology. And flirting is not always bad. Interesting cos it shows how complex human beings really r. :)

are we heading towards a recession in the US? let's hope not!! can someone do something quick. bush is an idiot... too little too late. IDIOT! hope the next president can be a better one (n with bush as benchmark, it is not difficult at all)

CFA

received 6 books from CFA. not even halfway thru my 1st book (which is suppose to be easiest). i wonder how am i going to finish and be ready for exams in june.

Merry X'mas

Wish all my friends out there a Merry Christmas. :)

This year I am going to spend my christmas differently. No caroling, no bbq, no party, no countdown. I'll be heading to the old folks home to visit my ah ma (n the ppl over there). Tml I shall buy chocolate and distribute to the staff there as well. I hope this will bring some joy into the quiet and gloomy place.
