had a wonderful weekend. the CJ transect was tiring, but it was a very wonderful experience to dig n sieve mud ns sand in the wee hours of the morning. the tide was receding from 2am all the way until 9am then the tide starts to come in. sea anemones spotted the ground like huge blooming flowers of different colours on the sand bar. it was very beautiful. i just hope the freaking government will spare tis part of the island n it's surrounding to save it for our future generations. come to think of it, except for bt timah nature reserve which is our only primary forest (ironically flanked by BKE n bt timah rd), chek jawa is the only place tt harbours such great biodiversity. it's relatively untouched n tt's the beauty. but reclamation works on pulau tekong r affecting the sedimentation levels, tt's why the green algae dun grow tt well than b4. :( hope tis transect will provide sufficient details for a bid to save it.

after ubin, i rushed home to get ready for chalet at sentosa. the chalet was a success. most of us did our small part n contributed. kudos to everyone!! greece won. thruout the match, only weng n i supported them. i support greece cos blue n white is nicer than green yellow red. n weng supported greece cos protugal beat his holland in the semi!! the rest r all hoping for a portugal win, but.. anyway, defensive tactics have gone a step higher, now it's time for teams to start working on attacking options to break greece's new found form of defence.

i think tis is the first time tt all members of igualans stayed over at a chalet. each n everyone contributed in one way or another. those who can cook cooked, can wash washed, can clean cleaned, can eat ate, can sleep slept, can play played etc.. u noe wat i mean. =) was wondering when will we have another chalet like tis. one which we managed all by ourselves. haha!!

argh.. i'm suffering from sandfly bites though.. can't stop scratching my legs.
