Exams r round the corner. Not going for choir practice today, got a cell bio test on tuesday. terror!! maybe i will try to go next sunday. hehe~ will feel weird not going to choir on sunday.

yesterday had my bioinformatics test, again was a 'talk cock' kinda qn n answer test, cos the lecturer also like to talk a lot of cock n bull story, dun noe if the cock is impt or the bull is impt. maybe he's just too knowledgable n try to tell us everything he noes... blabber on n on...

bumped into my JC bio teacher at novena, she quitted teaching just this feb, now is some education career development firm. schools r getting tougher, pressure mounting on teachers n students, lots of admin n red tape, guess tt's just hw the situation is. i really admire those teachers who can stay in the teaching line for the whole of their lives. for me, i would like to try something new. accomplish more n experience different aspects. guess tt's just wat she did. great she still remember us as the '4 guys' class n of cos, her fav pet, moky was also in our class.

think i can't study at home... maybe i shall go school.

last nite got to meet QQ after her work n joined up with yingxian n yueqi, her sisters. haha~ yueqi said tt everytime she meet QQ, i will be there as third party. wat to do, wo men you yuan~

life science. i think it's a very scary term. how much we dun understand how our body functions, our cells work n coordinate is simply astounding. the things we noe so far is just the tip of the iceberg. tis makes it scary. imagine we have to keep up with the research findings to stay current n ahead, it's going to be never ending. tt's why i wanna go into life science. it can explain many naturally occuring phenomenon which we normally take for granted. it's a knowledge we wanna acquire, a skill which we wanna develop. why do humans have feelings, how we learn, wat goes on in our neurons? why r we so well adapted?? wat makes us so different from a mouse when 95% of our genome r identical? i dunno, n i seek to find out more. i hope life science can bring about advents in curing genetic diseases cos i think they r horrible. imagine a baby born to be normal but to development brain necrosis only at puberty? horrible rite?? it's genetic, nothing they can do about it unless there is some way to prevent the gene from expression. life will be better n less ppl will suffer unnecessary pain n torture.

maybe one day in the far future we will get endless supply of high yield crops tt will alleviate all hunger, super humans which can conquer not just earth but other planets. wat we see in science fiction may just come real. scary? but i will not live to be able to witness that.
