found out that i may be a thalassemia carrier. my uncle is, his wife is, thus 25% chance tt their baby will be double recessive in this gene, which is a blood disorder. The haemoglobin has defects, thus the baby will not survive. thru permutations, if my uncle is, there's a chance that my dad is a carrier too. if my dad is a carrier, then i might be a carrier. i got a feeling i am a carrier, but hope i'm not. if not it's like MCQ, 1 out of 4 the baby cannot survive (if the mother is a carrier too).
