been a long time since i stayed up late doing nothing. been blogging lesser and lesser. guess there's nothing significant in my life tt i would like to lament, complain, whine, rejoice, praise, share with ppl.

yes, my life is getting mundane, but not worse. in fact it's getting better. i am happier, more satisfied and contented with life. i need the blog less as an avenue to express my feelings and thoughts cos i have other avenues now.

seldom do i post stories but there is a story i would like to share. my fren wrote tis:

You go to a departmental store,There are many clothes to choose from. You stumble upon one shirt, try it on, and realize u really like it.You like the fit, the colour, the material, everything about it.After some consideration, you decide to buy itAnd you wear it everyday like its a part of you.

As time goes by, you realize its got a few stains here and thereYou didn't see them when you first saw the shirtBut because you've grown to like it so much you just accept the stains as part of the shirt's design

Once a while you chance upon other clothes in the storeand at that time you feel like one of them could add more spice to your personality insteadBut you're too comfortable with your original shirt and can't bear to part with it. So you don't try the new clothes

You see some friends daring to do what you don'tThey really like their new shirtsAnd they tell you they don't regret since they feel they couldnt' stand the stains on their old shirt any longer

Sometimes you're really tempted to do the sameWhen you tell your friends your sentiments,Some advice you not to settle for the first one if you think it's just so-soSome tell you to just try other shirts since you never know if the new ones are better fitting

But you look back at those new clothes,And you realize they don't look as attractive as the first impressionYou've also grown more and more attached to your shirtAnd you've come to love it regardless of the number of stains and holes it has.

Most importantly,You're afraid if you let go of your shirt to try new clothes,You may realize that it was the first piece that was best fitting all along,And if you want to buy it again it could be already bought by someone else.

You can't bear to risk the regret. And you decide to stick to your shirt
Because it was the best choice anyway.

goodnite everyone. life is nv the same now, but i got a taste of the past last nite. it was great fun! (minus the hurting butt)
