last nite's caroling was diasterous (in my opinion)

1. i was shocked to see so many bowen sec ppl joining us for caroling. i was not informed, neither was the hotel. wonder how they felt... delighted with the bigger group and more sound, or the lack in quality?

2. we sounded bad, or rather worse than we would be if we r singing alone as consort. but well, on hindsight, they r young singers, can't blame them, we were young n irritating once too. i understand the conductor's wish for them to be more exposed. but i guess it's at the expense of consort's image. oh well, nvm...

3. we don't look professional enough (in my standards). the hotel is paying us professionally and we must produce a professional performance. last nite's was definitely not so many of us were looking at scores n nt following the conductor!

4. they clutter up the room, bags everywhere, noisy... ill-disciplined (nt tt consort ppl r VERY disciplined) but i guess it's the gers la. when they start to yak, it can get really irritating.

hope tonite's show will be better. consort is doing charity here boy...oh well, just accomodate. just wish tt the hotel still tinks we r good. dun want all our past efforts with the hotel go down the drain. pity the new comm too... hope they can continue to make consort a good choir. (but i see it falling apart)
